3 Things…

Although many people have already moved on from Easter and are trolling online for Mother’s Day Gifts let me quickly share 3 things you probably DID  know about the resurrection of Jesus Christ and 3 things you probably DID NOT know.

First, you probably already knew that resurrecting Jesus Christ from the dead was God’s Plan A.  It wasn’t a backup plan or a failsafe plane, it was God’s original intent.  This is why there are so many different verses in the Bible that talk about the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ dating back as early as 400 years prior to the birth of Jesus.

Second, you probably already knew that Jesus died to take away the sins of the world.  It’s not that our sins, or wrongdoings, or immoral choices were put aside.  By Jesus dying in our place He paid the debt for our sins and therefore removed them, and any condemnation against us.

Third, you probably already knew that the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead verified that this was God’s ‘Plan A’ and that our sins were removed.  It would be one thing if Jesus never rose from the dead.  Then we would always have to wonder whether or not what God promised was actually accomplished.  But the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ removed any doubt.

The first thing you probably did NOT know is that it is impossible to deny the historical fact that the resurrection of Jesus Christ took place.  There is more evidence to verify the resurrection was an actual event than there is to prove any one person’s actual identity.  The resurrection is an undeniable event.

The second thing you probably did NOT know was that although it is impossible to deny the fact that the resurrection took place it is very easy to nullify the impact of the resurrection.  All that needs to be done is to ignore the truth and believe the lie that God doesn’t love you enough to do whatever it takes to be with you forever.

The third thing you probably did NOT know is that the resurrection was not the end of God’s plan.  It was just the beginning.  The rest of God’s plan unfolds as you determine what to do next.

Can't Wait to Hear From You
